When we're 20 we're pretty much assured
by: Sandra Maia
Translation: Gerson C. Borges

Well, it's Just like that, isn't it? When we're Young, we're sure of ourselves. We're tense. We have no doubts .
We don't ask much what is put to us. We Just accept life. We are then either revolted or acquiescent... At 40, we have marks. We're in a hurry. We need to do everything that hasn't been done yet. We fall and get back up many times. And there we stay, no knowing what to do, not knowing what's going to be, not knowing where to start again... We are then  - in a hurry, we are compliant...
At 60- well - we're not that tense anymore and the marks have become parto f what we built. We become more serene. The value of things changes for us. We can feel young at heart, we can feel moderno r we can feel obsolete. Tp grow old is part of the deal! It's part of negootiating with ourselves howt it's going to be on the next 20 years... We are more cautious, more loving, sometimes more generous...

Well, beyond this cycle there is still the impact of the generations... So, IF you belong to generation Y, you can feel excesso of confidence mixed with a little ingenuity, coming from inexperience... If you are from generation X, you can be more careless, more individualist. Na individualism that borders ingratitude and disloyalty, a little off balance, I would say. It may be part, tôo, of my generation of baby-boomers - extremely selfconfident and workaholics, sometimes hypocriticals... After all, the generation doesn't matter. It doesen't matte which phase of the cycle things are, they don't change. Life is motion...
Once in life you were or is Young, and then you Will have to go through  everything that everybody else went through... That is, the uncertainties, the senses, the need of conexion, the evaluation of the growth, the desire to contribute someway for a society somewhat fair...
That's it! It's life. We are humans, and as such, one day we are well, next day, not so much... One Day we'ren happy, next Day, well, we have to choose that!
The question is: what do we do with ourselves in the meantime? With our dreams? With our desires?
Wed fight, we search for a balance, or we Just sit there, like zombies, lurking, waiting for the chance, dreaming to dream somebody else's dreams, live sombody else's lives, wasting the most precious thing we have: time! What is your choice?

Choose, after all, the responsibility for what hapens to us is always ours... Always choices!
