In many Asian countries such as China, India, Japan, Nepal and Tibet, the philosophy of the Tantra is very much present. In those countries sexuality is not only considered sacred by its followers but they also have it as a life style.
Women have been associated to the Moon since immemorial times on account of their menstrual cycle and to the element Water. Men, on the other hand, are associated to the Sun and to the element Fire.
In Tantreism, each time a woman has a sexual encounter, she acquires the Karma of her partner and he acquires hers. In the love act the couples' vital forces mix to one another. Their individual Karmas converge to each other and during this exchange the result is that the individual fate may change.
All of this happens because the spiritual longing is seen as Tantra's moving force which can be reached through the magic of the love act, where the physical body is thought to be the soul's temple, the universe's micro cosmos. All the elements (earth, water, fire, air and ether) are found within the human body.
The initiation power of a woman is highly praised, as every human being is born through the 'yoni' (vagina) and every man tries his best to get back in this kingdom of femininity, during the sex contact.
Some oriental religions have it that women are not born with the Karma. She inherits it from her father and also after marriage.
Men's energy resides in his sperm, in accordance with the Karma. If a spermatozoid, on fertilizing the ovule has the power to give life to a being, you can imagine the amount of energy that a woman gets millions of them in each sexual act.
The events we are experiencing presently are the direct results from our passed actions nor only in this life but also in previous lives. The man who is aware of the Karma's formula and of it's actions, aggregates in himself the positive Karma of the woman.
A single sexual act in the right circumstances, can, according to the Tantric philosophy, change the course of destiny. You will know it for sure especially in the case of women) that you won't feel guilty, have remorse or feel uncomfortable. Your heart will feel lighter and totally devoted to the person you love.
